Before you ask
The honest answers.
What if I'm the worst one out there?
Someone has to be, and it genuinely doesn't matter. There are no tryouts and no minimum level, and every training session is marked by intensity so you choose how gently to start. Whoever is running the session balances the teams and makes sure you get the ball.
Is it mixed?
Yes. Men and women play in the same teams, and the sides are balanced. If that was what you were wondering: yes, this is for you.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes: you have to be 18 to have an account, to book and to play.
Do I need a group or can I come alone?
You can come alone — most people do. Teams are made on the spot and change every week, so you don't need to bring anyone. Training in Valencia? What coming alone is like.
What fitness level do I need?
None in particular. Start with an easy training session and move up when you feel like it. There's always a guided warm-up so you don't pull something on day one.
How much does it cost?
You buy the training sessions you want: one at a time, or in a pack, which works out cheaper per session. Each one is a place in a training session on the timetable. You pay once, there is no monthly fee and what you buy does not expire. Each city’s prices are on the Pricing page.
Do I have to cancel anything?
There is nothing to cancel. No fee, no automatic renewal: you buy sessions when you feel like it, and that's it. If you want to leave altogether, you can delete your account from your profile in one tap.
Does what I buy expire?
No. The sessions you buy stay in your balance until you use them, with no deadline. Your profile always shows how many you have left.
What if I get injured or ill?
You lose nothing. Your sessions don't expire, so they sit in your balance until you're ready to come back. Do write and tell us what happened anyway: it helps us adapt the session for the day you return.
What if I book and can't make it?
You can cancel up to 8 hours before and the session goes back into your balance. If you cancel with less than 8 hours, or don't show up, it counts as used: by then the pitch is paid for and the place cannot be filled.
What if it's full?
You join the waiting list, which costs nothing and takes nothing from your balance. If a place frees up we offer it to whoever has waited longest: the place is held in their name and nothing is charged until they confirm. There is only a deadline — 30 minutes — if somebody else is waiting behind them; if not, there's no rush. And if it doesn't suit you, you turn it down and it passes to the next person straight away.
What if you cancel it?
You get the session back, no conditions — whether it's rain, the state of the pitch, or not enough players.
What if someone plays violently?
We don't tolerate it. No violence, no insults, no dangerous play, no harassment or discrimination of any kind. The coach can ask you to leave the session on the spot, with nothing refunded, if your behaviour puts the group at risk. If it's repeated or serious, we close your account and you can't use REMATCH again.
What do I bring?
Boots or trainers for artificial grass, and water. We provide the bibs and the balls.
I have an old injury. Can I train?
Usually yes, but tell whoever is running the session before you start: they can adapt it, but only if they know. That information is confidential and used only for that. If you've been inactive a long time, are carrying an injury, or are under medical treatment, we'd strongly recommend a check-up first.
Will I appear in photos and videos?
We film training sessions and use the material to promote REMATCH, so you probably will. If you'd rather not, tell us before the training session and we'll take it into account when filming and editing; you can also ask us to remove a specific image at any time.
Still not sure? Write to us and we'll answer.
